# Your room. A fresh point of view.

Upload a room photo and describe the furniture, finishes, and lighting you want. Tell Bob which parts of the room should stay, then compare the redesign with your original.

**Audience:** For interior designers, decorators, and curious homeowners

## How it works

Interior design, from your own image.

1. **Upload your existing space** — Use a room photo or an exported interior model view with a clear composition.
2. **Tell Bob what stays and changes** — Keep the layout, retain a favorite piece, or explore a new material palette.
3. **Develop your favorite direction** — Refine the image, compare concepts, and download a visual reference for the next conversation.

## Example prompt

```
Restyle the same room into a warm contemporary interior: replace the gray sofa with a sand linen sofa in the same position, add a low walnut coffee table, textured ivory rug, one large restrained abstract artwork and a linen curtain at the existing window. Keep room dimensions, openings, ceiling, floor, camera and sunlight direction unchanged. Avoid clutter.
```

## From reference to concept.

A generated source, its edited result, and a closer look at the same result. Use the comparison above to inspect what changed.

- **Original room** — The generated source image used as the edit reference.
- **Interior concept** — The result of the task-specific edit, using that source image.
- **The new sofa texture** — A tightly framed detail from this result, shown at three times the scale of the full view.

## Benefits

- **Work from your own room** — A photo is enough to start exploring. No room model or software plugin is needed.
- **Make the brief your own** — Describe the materials, furniture, or feeling you want instead of picking only a fixed filter.
- **Keep the conversation going** — Ask for a softer palette, a different table, or a new lighting direction in the same conversation.

## Tips

- Photograph the room in natural light and avoid very wide-angle distortion.
- Mention furniture and built-in features you want to keep.
- Start with one design goal, then refine materials, furnishings, and light.

## Interior design questions

### Can I redesign my actual room from a photo?

Yes. Upload a clear photo and describe the look you want. Bob can help explore furnishings, surfaces, and atmosphere from that image.

### Can I keep my existing room layout?

Ask Bob to keep the layout and specify the features that matter. AI can still change details, so compare the result with your source before making decisions.

### Can I change just a material or a piece of furniture?

You can ask for a focused edit and describe what should remain unchanged. You can also use the image-editing selection tools in the app to identify the area you want to work on.

### Is this a shopping list or a measured floor plan?

No. Generated interiors are visual concepts. They do not verify dimensions, construction details, exact furniture models, or purchasing availability.

### How is interior redesign different from virtual staging?

Interior redesign explores changes to an existing room. Virtual staging is focused on presenting a property with believable furnishings. The same image tools can support both, with different briefs.

A concept is a starting point, not a measured interior plan. Confirm dimensions, product availability, colors, and material suitability before purchasing or building.
