# You design it. Give it atmosphere.

Upload a model screenshot, drawing, or photo. Explore materials, landscaping, and light without setting up a new rendering scene. Review the result as a visual concept, not an exact model render.

**Audience:** For architects, design studios, and visualization teams

## How it works

Architectural rendering, from your own image.

1. **Frame the design** — Export a useful view from your modeling software, or upload a drawing or photo.
2. **Set the direction** — Describe the materials, context, lighting, and the geometry that should stay in place.
3. **Refine the visual story** — Ask for changes, compare the result with your source, and download your selected image.

## Example prompt

```
Render this model view in soft daylight with natural facade materials, people, and simple planting. Keep the building massing, roofline, openings, and camera angle.
```

## From design intent to visual direction.

Explore a setting, a material language, or a different atmosphere without starting a new conversation for every idea.

- **Make the setting part of the story** — Explore daylight, landscape, and the life around a building.
- **A quieter atmosphere** — Study how dusk and warm interior light change the presentation.
- **Give materials a voice** — Develop a facade palette from an architectural drawing.

## Benefits

- **Use the view you already have** — Start from an exported model image, an architectural drawing, or a site photo.
- **Direct the image in plain language** — Brief Bob on materials, setting, weather, and the parts of the design to retain.
- **Explore before you commit** — Develop concepts for design discussions, then take the chosen direction into your detailed workflow.

## Tips

- Choose a view that clearly communicates the massing and important openings.
- Separate fixed design constraints from elements Bob can interpret.
- Use the result for concept communication and check design fidelity before client use.

## Architectural rendering questions

### What can I use as an architectural rendering input?

Start with a model screenshot, exported drawing, sketch, or photo. A clear image and a specific material and lighting brief give Bob a useful starting point.

### Do I need to install a modeling plugin?

No plugin is required for this image-based workflow. Export or capture your view and upload it to Rendervis in your browser.

### Is the output an exact rendering of my model?

No. It is an AI-generated interpretation of the source image. Ask Bob to preserve geometry, but compare the output with your design for inaccuracies or unintended changes.

### Can I explore several material and lighting directions?

Yes. Ask for variations or refine an existing image in conversation. Be explicit about which design decisions are fixed and which are open to exploration.

### Can I turn a finished still into a video?

Rendervis supports image-to-video generation from suitable stills. Video is a separate generation with its own credit cost; review the current options in the app.

AI rendering interprets an image; it is not a physically accurate renderer or a BIM validation tool. Geometry, context, and details can change and should be reviewed.
